The true story of Mavis Eccleston, who in 2019 was put on trial for murder after assisting her terminally ill husband, Dennis, with his suicide. A heartbreaking story of a couple deeply in love for 60 years, and a family who never imagined their lives would be torn apart in the way it was. GOODNIGHT, DARLING is the story of Mavis and Dennis - their uncompromising love and the persecution she faced for trying to ease the suffering of the person she loved most in the world. 

GOODNIGHT, DARLING is being co-produced by Corestar. Screenplay financed by Sky Cinema and written by Deborah Moggagh OBE (Pride and Prejudice, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Tulip Fever).

Here I Am

Feature Film

Wild Nest recently acquired the rights to Alan Huffman’s book HERE I AM, about the life of acclaimed war photographer Tim Hetherington, who died in Libya in 2011. A young, charismatic but self destructive photographer journeys to the world's most brutal war-zones to try and capture the humanity behind the violence taking place. But as his work starts to take its toll, will the friendships he forms at war be able to save him from himself? 

Greg Barker (SERGIO for Netflix. GHOSTS OF BERUIT for Showtime) is attached to direct. Joelle Touma (The Attack, The Insult - Academy Award Nominee for Best Foreign Language film) is attached to write the screenplay. Former conflict documentary film maker, producer, and Hetherington’s best friend, James Brabazon (Channel 4’s Dispatches, Which Way Is the Frontline From Here?) is a consultant on the project. 

 

 

Ask No Questions

Feature Film

Based on the true story of the Loughinisland massacre in Northern Ireland in 1994 in which 6 innocent people were killed by UVF terrorists, and the 12 year investigation afterwards by journalists Trevor Birney and Barry McCaffery. Their investigation led to uncovering deep state collusion between the British Government and the terrorists, leading to the arrests of the two journalists themselves.

 

ASK NO QUESTIONS is a co-production with Trevor Birney from Fine Point Films (Sundance audience award ‘24 winner “Kneecap”, recently acquired by Sony Pictures Classics).

The Whale Tattoo

Joe turns to his sister, Birdee, the only person who has ever listened. But she can’t help him. Then there’s Tim Fysh, local fisherman and long-time lover. But reviving their bond is bound to cause trouble. As the water settles and Joe learns the truth about the river, he finds that we all have the capability to hate, and that we can all make the choice not to…

 

THE WHALE TATTOO has recently been optioned by Wild Nest Pictures. Screenplay has been written by Jon Ransom. Tom Brittney (Grantchester) is attached to direct as his debut feature.
